Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Benson, Hale Road, OX10 6NE Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 17 October 2022 Coming into force: 25 October 2022 This Order is being introduced because of excavation works for new electricity supply which is anticipated to take 10 days to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the central section of Hale Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. There is no alternative route as the closure location is a dead end. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Benson, Churchfield Lane Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 3 October 2022 Coming into force: 10 October 2022 This Order is being introduced because of reinforcement to the existing main by laying a new main works which are anticipated to take 2 weeks to complete working 24hrs each day. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Churchfield Lane. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is along B4009 and A4074. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Cumnor, Chawley Lane Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 7 November 2022 Coming into force: 21 November 2022 This Order is being introduced because of gas mains replacement works which are anticipated to be completed 27 January 2023. This is a 24 hour road closure. (The road will be open 9 December to 6 January due to seasonal restrictions). The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in that part of Chawley Lane between Cumnor Hill and Norreys Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Norreys Road, Bertie Road, Oxford Road, Cumnor Hill and vice versa.
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T10700/AC)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Wallingford, Well Place Road and Berins Hill Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 3 October 2022 Coming into force: 10 October 2022 This Order is being introduced because of overhead cabling and tree reduction works which are anticipated to be complete 04 November 2022. This will operate between 08:00 and 18:00hours. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the whole length of Well Place Road and Berins Hill. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Well Place Road, Church Lane, A4074, Main Street, Parkside, Uxmore Road, Kit Lane, Berins Hill and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T10636/AC)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Thame, Footpath Closure Between Ludlow Drive and Henrietta Road


Date of Order: 3 October 2022 Coming into force: 11 October 2022 This Order is being introduced for installation of fibre cable ducting which is anticipated to be completed 17 October 2022. 24 hours restriction, access will be maintained for residents outside normal working hours. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily the footpath between Ludlow Drive and Henrietta Road. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. The alternative route for those affected by the closure is via Henrietta Road, Cromwell Avenue, footpath between Charles Drive and Cromwell Avenue, Charles Drive and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T10628/AC)
