Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 10, Great Yeldham in the District of Braintree, footpath 10, from the junction with the High Street (A1017), westwards for a distance of approximately 223 metres to the junction with Footpath 40 Great Yeldham. The closure is scheduled to commence on 03/10/2022 to 03/01/2023 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce whilst resurfacing works to footpath 10 are undertaken. The alternative route will be via High Street, Toppesfield Road and Great Yeldham Footpath 40 and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 03/10/2022 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 10 October 2022.

Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
(Bardfield Road, Finchingfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bardfield Road, Finchingfield in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 315m south west of its junction with The Hopgrounds for a distance of approximately 90m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th October 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010689202 -Anglian Water). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Buck Hill/ Bakers Lane, Black Notley in the District of Braintree, from the junction with Notley Road for a distance of approximately 785m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th October 2022 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SAWD7WF55V004 & 05 - Openreach). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Francis Way Silver End in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Runnacles Street to its junction with Manors Way a distance of approximately 175m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th October 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2333273 - Essex County Council). (Oak Road, Rivenhall) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Oak Road, Rivenhall in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 30m north west of its junction with Henry Dixon Road for a distance of approximately 65m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th October 2022 for 2 nights (20:00-06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (KL701LTN1-39-77-251022 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while bridge inspection works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd. (Various Roads, District of Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order (No.6) 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of road in the District of Braintree as specified in the schedule.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting,
No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force. "The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 6th October 2022, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
