(Basildon District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment 28) Order 20**
Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effects of the order:
TO REVOKE: Permit M Holders Only at Any Time on the following lengths of roads in the District of Basildon

(A132 Burnham Road, South Woodham Ferrers, and Rettendon) (Temporary 40mph Speed Limit) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that further to the Notice under S14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section S14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to continue the temporary 40mph Speed Limit, in force.
Effect of the order: To Implement a Temporary 40mph Speed Limit on A132 Burnham Road, South Woodham Ferrers, and Rettendon, in the City of Chelmsford from its junction with Wickford Road south-westwards for a distance of approximately 3,300 metres to a point approximately 330 metres east of its junction with the Rettendon Turnpike (applies to travel in both directions).
The temporary 40mph speed limit is scheduled to take place on 07 October 2022 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The temporary 40mph speed limit is required for the safety of the public due to deformation of the carriageway. The Order will come into effect on 07 October 2022 and may continue in force for eighteen months, or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Barling Road & Silchester Corner, Great Wakering) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Barling Road & Silchester Corner, Great Wakering in the District of Rochford, from the junction with Silchester Corner Roundabout for a distance of approximately 875m in a north westerly then northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th October 2022 for 26 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30066238149 -UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead line works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Silchester Corner Roundabout, Southend Road, Little Wakering Road, Barling Road and vice versa (with access only into Barling Road).
The Order will come into effect on 6th October 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Hillside Road, Billericay) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hillside Road, Billericay in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 80m east of its junction with Chapel Street for a distance of approximately 45m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th October 2022 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ7031001175353 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Cadent. An alternative route is available via Hillside Road, Chapel Street, Sun Street, Southend Road, Bell Hill Roundabout, Outwood Common Road, Greens Farm Lane, Meadow Rise, Valley Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 6th October 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
