(Footpath 5, Tollesbury) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section S14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended). Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 5, Tollesbury, in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Footpath 16 northwards to its junction with Footpath 18, for a distance of approximately 580 metres. The closure is scheduled to commence on 07 October 2022 to 23 December 2022 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce whilst works are undertaken. The Order will come into effect on 07 October 2022 and may continue in force for 6 months, or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(A414 Maldon Bypass, Heybridge, and Maldon) (Temporary 40mph Speed Limit) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that further to the Notice under S14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section S14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to continue the temporary 40mph Speed Limit, in force. Effect of the order: To Implement a Temporary 40mph Speed Limit on A414 Maldon Bypass, Heybridge, and Maldon, in the District of Maldon from its junction with the B1018 Heybridge Approach, south-westwards for a distance of approximately 1,700 metres to its junction with Spital Road.
Notice is hereby given that further to the Notice under S14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section S14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to continue the temporary 40mph Speed Limit, in force. Effect of the order: To Implement a Temporary 40mph Speed Limit on A414 Maldon Bypass, Heybridge, and Maldon, in the District of Maldon from its junction with the B1018 Heybridge Approach, south-westwards for a distance of approximately 1,700 metres to its junction with Spital Road.
The temporary 40mph speed limit is scheduled to take place on 07 October 2022 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The temporary 40mph speed limit is required for the safety of the public due to deformation of the carriageway. The Order will come into effect on 07 October 2022 and may continue in force for eighteen months, or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Footpath 29 Tollesbury) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that further to the Notice under S14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section S14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to continue the closure in force.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 29, Tollesbury, in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 1200 metres southeast of its junction with Footpath 22, Tollesbury, northeast for a distance of approximately 200 metres. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21 September 2022 to 21 October 2022 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public whilst repair works are carried out on the damaged concrete blocks, and the clay core of the embankment.
The Order will come into effect on 21 September 2022 and may continue in force for 6 months, or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Latchingdon Road, Cold Norton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Latchingdon Road, Cold Norton in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 135m south east of its junction with Howe Green Road for a distance of approximately 60m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th October 2022 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30065788075 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while utility and maintenance works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Fambridge Road, Lower Burnham Road and vice versa with access only into Latchingdon Road and Woodham Road. The Order will come into effect on 6th October 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
