Temporary Closure of River Lane and Dunwear Lane Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: River Lane - from 948 metres south west of the junction with Westonzoyland Road, westwards for a distance of 397 metres; and Dunwear Lane - from 163 metres south of the junction with Plum Lane, southwards for a distance of 155 metres. For a total distance of 552 metres. This Order will enable Westen Power Distribution to carry out supply alteration works. The Order becomes effective on 4th October 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 10th October 2022 and last until 21st October 2022 between the hours of 09:00 -17:00 for a total of 12 days. Please visit
