SAMFORD ARUNDEL AND WELLINGTON) (30MPH SPEED LIMIT EXTENSIONS AND 50MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2022 NOTICE Is hereby given that Somerset County Council proposes to make the above Order in pursuance of the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is to introduce 30mph Speed Limit Extensions and 50mph Speed Limit on the lengths of road as specified in the schedules to this Notice. The provisions of any other orders are hereby revoked but only as far as they are affected by the restrictions by this Order.
A copy of the draft Order, the maps showing the lengths of road affected and the Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected online at

. Persons wishing to object to the proposed Order may do so in writing, specifying the grounds on which it is made, to Somerset County Council, Traffic Management, B2 West, County Hall, Taunton, TA1 4DY, quoting Reference No. AF20052022 or by email

and received no later than 21 days from the publication of this notice.
The names and addresses of anyone writing in may be made available for public inspection and will be included in a report that may be published on the Somerset County Council website, unless the individuals concerned state, in writing, their objection to their names and addresses being made so available or being included in the publication.

SCHEDULE 1 30mph Speed Limit Extensions Foxdown Hill, Wellington - From the junction with the A38 Wellington Relief Road in a northerly direction for a distance of 510 metres. Bagley Road, Wellington - From the junction with A38 Wellington Relief Road in a northerly direction for a distance of 491 metres.
SCHEDULE 2 50mph Speed Limit A38 Exeter Road, Wellington - From a point 160 metres east of the junction with Gypsy Lane in a north easterly direction to the A38 Perry Elm roundabout.
