(Barrow Street. St Helens) (Revocation. Prohibition Of Driving. One Way Traffic And Prohibition Of Entry) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that on 26th September 2022 St Helens Borough Council made an Order in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to continue in force indefinitely the provision of the previous Experimental Traffic Regulation Order, as described in the Schedules to the Notice.

Schedule 1 - Revocations

The Council of St Helens (St Helens Town Centre Focal Point) (Revocation, Prohibition of Driving, Prohibition of Entry, One Way Traffic, Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting, Prohibition of Loading, Designated Disabled Parking Bays and Designated Loading Bays) Order 2007.

That part of Schedule 3 - Prohibition of Driving 10 am - 5pm Monday to Sunday - all that part that relates to Barrow Street.

Schedule 4 - Prohibition of Driving Except for Access 10 am to 5pm Monday to Sunday - all that part that relates to Barrow Street.

Schedule 5 - Prohibition of Entry Except for Loading by Goods Vehicles 5pm to 10am Monday to Sunday - all that part that relates to Barrow Street.

Schedule 6 - Prohibition of Entry Except for Access and Loading by Goods Vehicles 5pm to 10 am Monday to Sunday - all that part that relates to Barrow Street.

This Order will also revoke any pre-existing orders relating to One-way traffic on any length of Barrow Street.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirements of the Act, or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may within six weeks of the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for this purpose.
