On 13 September 2022 we confirmed the above order to divert the footpath between NY 4561 0194 and NY 4557 0222 from the factory yard to a route through the woodlands to the west of the factory, as shown on the order plan.

Any person who wishes to claim compensation under Section 28 of the 1980 Act for depreciation or damage by disturbance arising as a result of the order must make a claim in writing to the Solicitor to the Authority to arrive not later than 30 March 2023.

The order will come into force on 29 September 2022. If any person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or any provision contained in it, they can apply to the High Court within six weeks from 29 September 2022. The grounds for applying are that the order was not made within the powers of the Highways Act 1980 (as amended), orthat any requirement of the Act (as amended), or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with.
