Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make Orders under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

A562 Warrington Rd & Adj St's (Prohibition of Driving & Clearway) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving & clearway as follows: A562 Warrington Rd from its jct. with Greystone Rd in an east bound direction only; From Warrington Rd for 50m along the following lengths of road: Birkdale Rd; Coronation Dr; The Grove; Heath Rd; Sandy Ln. The Order will be effective from 31st October 2022 for 6 weeks, between 7pm &1am, as& when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Farnworth Rd, Stocks Ln & A57 Liverpool Rd. The restrictions are required for carriageway resurfacing. Ref: High/2385

Trans Pennine Trail, Lymm (Footpath Closure) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which will be to introduce a footpath closure on the Trans Pennine Trail from Whitbarrow Rd to Lymmhay Ln. The Order will be effective from 17th October 2022 for 5 weeks, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Whitbarrow Rd, Dane Bank Rd, Lymmhay Ln & vice versa. The restrictions are required for footway/ cycleway improvement scheme. Ref: High/2393

Capesthorne Rd & Barrow Ave (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving as follows: Capesthorne Rd from its jct. with Avery Cl to its jct. with Poplars Ave; Barrow Ave from its jct. with Capesthorne Rd to a point 15m north, outside No. 1 Barrow Ave. The Order will be effective from 31st October 2022 for 5 weeks, between 9am & 5pm, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Greenwood Cres, Poplars Ave & vice versa. The closure is required to facilitate highway improvement works. Ref: High/2373

Cromwell Ave (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Cromwell Ave (southbound) from its jct. with Westbrook Way to its jct. with Ladywood Rd. The Order will be effective from 9pm on 4th October 2022 to 6am on 5th October 2022, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Westbrook Way & Westbrook Cres. The closure is required to allow British Telecom to carry out installation works. Ref: High/2387

Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works.
