The County Council of Durham (Chester Burn Close, Pelton Fell) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 23/9/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on IS metres of Chester Burn Close that extends north easterly from the eastern facades of numbers 17 & 37 Chester Burn Close, Pelton Fell to enable new telecom duct and cable installation works to be undertaken. No alternative route will be available to vehicular traffic during the works periods, however road plates will be used for emergency service access and for resident access outside of working hours. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 3/10/22 and are anticipated to be completed in 4 weeks. On occasions, alternative dates tor closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
