(St Mary's Street, Blackhill, Consett) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022
The Council on 23/09/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 47 metres of St Mary's Street between Kelly Close and St Mary's Crescent, Blackhill, Consett to enable telecom chamber construction and duct works to be undertaken. Alternative route from the south eastern side of the closure from St Mary's Street north on Church Road, west on Durham Road and south on St Andrew's Crescent to the north western side of the closure, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 3/10/22 and are anticipated to be completed in 5 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
