Somerset County Council District of Somerset West and Taunton Parish of Halse Temporary Closure of Halsend and Oxlear Barton Lane

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Halsend - from the junction with Church Hill to the Junction with Whitmoor Lane; and Oxlear Barton Lane - from the Junction with Whitmoor Lane, eastwards for 548 metres. A total distance of 779 metres. This Order will enable Openreach to carry out underground transfer works. The Order becomes effective on 13th October 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 20th October 2022 and last until 20th October 2022 between the hours of 08:00 -18:00 for a total of 10 hours.
