For the County of Northumberland Definitive Map Modification Order (No 9) 2022
The above Order, made on 16th September 2022, if confirmed as made, will modify the definitive map and statement for the area by:-Former Tynedale District Restricted Byway No 62 (Parish of Bardon Mill) Adding thereto a restricted byway, from the B6318 Military Road, 100 metres east of that road's junction with the C312 road (O.S. Grid Ref NY 7823 6791), in a general northerly then north-easterly direction for a distance of 3920 metres, most of it following the U7044 road, to a point 400 metres south-east of East Hotbank (NY 7935 7082). Footpath No 1 (Parish of Bardon Mill) Correcting an error on the existing Definitive Statement, where the route between Rapishaw Gap and existing Footpath No 2, to the north, is currently (and wrongly) identified as being in a "north-easterly", rather than "general north-westerly" direction. The Definitive Statement for this path will also be amended to reflect the addition of the 'new' Restricted Byway No 62.
Footpaths Nos 3 and 25 (Parish of Bardon Mill)
The Definitive Statements for these existing public rights of way will be amended to reflect the addition of the 'new' Restricted Byway No 62. These details are shown on the Order map. A copy of the Order and the Order map may be seen free of charge at the Council Offices of Queens Hall, Beaumont Street, Hexham, NE46 3LS and the offices of Legal Services, County Hall, Morpeth, NE61 2EF during normal working hours.
