(Disabled Persons Parking Place on Barbourne lane, Worcester)

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to create a Disabled Persons Parking Place on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester:
Barbourne Lane (North Side): From a point 74 metres west of its junction with A38 Tything/Barbourne Road, opposite No.17, for a distance of 13.2 metres, in a westerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. Proposed Order: to close that part of C2067 Bell Lane from its junction with U62413 Sling Lane to its junction with B4204 Martley Road. Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: B4204 Martley Road, A443 Henwick Road, A443 Hylton Road, A44 New Road, A44 Bromyeard Road, C2066 Crown East Lane, C2066 Bell Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:

(U62006 Upper Ferry Lane, Powick) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022
Order made: to close that part of U62006 Upper Ferry
Lane from its junction with U62005 Lower Ferry Lane to
its junction with B4424 Upton Road.
Reason: New/replacement electricity cable by
Western Power.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: U62005 Lower Ferry Lane, B4424 Upton Road and vice versa.

Order made: to close that part of C2071 The Village from its junction with U64410 Abberley to its junction with C2276 The Village & C2071 Abberley. Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC. Order made: to close that part of C2225 Naunton Road to B4082 North Piddle Lane from its junction with U43200 North Piddle Lane to its junction U47408 Seaford Lane. Reason: New Customer Connection by Severn Trent

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by M.V. Kelly Ltd.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises
fronting the highway affected where there is no other
form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A4104 Station Road, A44 Allens Hill,
B4084 Edgon Lane and vice versa.

(B4636 Newtown Road, Worcester) (Bus Lane) (Temporary Suspension) Order 2022
Proposed Order: to temporarily suspend that part of the bus lane order affecting the highway from its junction with U52002 Aconbury Close to its junction with U52003 Linksview Crescent (so that it can be used to facilitate normal traffic during works). Reason: Utility works by Openreach. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:
6 days Commencing: 20 October 2022.

(Temporary Closure) Order 2022
Proposed Order: to close that part of U50319 Northwick
Road from its junction with U50321 Willowslea Road to
its junction with U50322 Hillcrest Rise.
Reason: Carriageway reconstruction by Jessops Bros.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises
fronting the highway affected where there is no other
form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Willowslea Road and vice versa.

(Temporary Closure) Order 2022
Proposed Order: to close that part of A44 Spetchley
Road from its junction with U47646 Spetchley Road to
its junction with A44 Evesham Road.
Reason: Utility Works by BT Openreach.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises
fronting the highway affected where there is no other
form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

(A449 Bromwich Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022 Order made: to close that part of A449 Bromwich Road from its junction with A44 Tybridge Street to its junction with U54255 Bromwich Lane. Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: A449 Bromwich Road, A449 Malvern Road, A449 The Village, A4440 Hams Way, A4440 Grove Way, A44 Bromyard Road, A44 St Johns, A44 Bull Ring and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 15 days Commencing: 2 October 2022. NB. Works will take place on Sundays only during this period.

(Footpath WT-500, Whittington) (Temporary Closure) Order 2020 NOTICE is hereby given that the Order made by Worcestershire County Council on 15 October 2020 the effect of which is to close that part of Footpath WT-500, Whittington for its entire length, which was due to expire on 30 September 2022 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for the Department Transport until the works to which it relates have been completed or until 30 March 2023 whichever is sooner. Any further extension will require the approval of the Secretary of State. The Order has been made due to construction work for a new housing development.
Alternative route: via U52047 and U52044 Swinesherd Lane, Warndon Bridleway WN-662, Whittington Bridleways WT-508, WT-510 and WT-511 (part), Footpaths WT-519 and WT-501, Bridleway WT-509 and vice versa.

(C2244 Crews Hill, Suckley)(Temporary Closure) Order 2022
Proposed Order: to close that part of C2244 Crews Hill from its junction with U62219 Blackhouse Lane to its junction with U62222 Alfrick.
Reason: Boundary box installation by Severn Trent water. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2244 Crews Hill, C2244 Suckley, C2070 Suckley, C2064 Longley Green, C2064 Stocks Road, C2233 Alfrick, C2244 Workhouse Bank and
vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days Commencing: 24 October 2022.
