Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the roads as detailed in the Schedules below.

There will be no stopping or waiting permitted throughout the duration of the works.
The reason for the closures and restrictions is for carrying out carriageway
pre-surface dressing patching.

The roads are expected to be closed on a rolling programme commencing
1st October 2022 where the presence of approved signage will indicate
whether the closures are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times
will be displayed on site prior to the closures taking effect.

This order can
permit the closure of the roads in any order, or simultaneously as required and
it is anticipated all works will be completed by 31st March 2022. For further

Temporary Closure Of 401500 Longfurlong Lane
(Tetbury Upton Parish) Cotswold District

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the relevant provisions
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part
of 401500 Longfurlong Lane from outside the property known as Westphilia to
outside The Builders Yard for a distance of approximately 131 metres.
The reason for the closure is to install a new water connection.
The road is expected to be closed from the 4th October 2022 to the
6th October 2022 only or until the works have been completed, which is the

Temporary Road Closure Of 401002 Church Road
(Quenington Parish) Cotswold District

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of 401002 Church
Road from its junction with 4/1002 Leafield Road Fairford to Church Road to
outside St Swithins Church for a distance of approximately 359 metres.
The reason for the closure is to rebuild a collapsed wall supporting the carriageway.
The road is expected to be closed from the 3rd October 2022 until
21st October 2022 only or until the works have been completed. For further

The above roads fall within various Parishes in the Cotswold District,
Gloucestershire as described in the above Schedule.

The closure is necessary for urgent ash die back tree works to be undertaken.
The roads were originally closed by Urgent Notice, commencing
22nd September 2022. However, the works will not be completed within
the 5 days authorised by this Notice, and so it is necessary to extend the
closure by a Temporary Order, which can authorise the closure of the Roads
for up to eighteen months from the date of the original Notice. The roads
are expected to be closed on a rolling programme, where the presence of
approved signage will indicate whether the closures are in force. The roads
are expected to re-open on the 30th September 2022.
