Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) The Borough (Part), Downton; from its junction with B3080 to its junction with Green Lane to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 26 October 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 for 2 days. Alternative route B via Earls Court Road (unaffected length) - Smithfield Street - A345 - London Road - Porton Road and vice versa. Alternative route C, D and E via Boscombe Road (unaffected length) - Porton Road - Main Road - Stockport Road - Stockport Avenue - Underwood Drive (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 25 October 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 until 11 November 2022. This Order will come into operation on 06 October 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 21:00 and 05:00 for 1 night. Alternative route via C298 (unaffected length) - C61 - C300 - C299 - C43 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 04 October 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. This Order will come into operation on 03 October 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 23:59 until 14 October 2022. The County of Wiltshire (Various Roads, Quidhampton, Wilton and Netherhampton) (40mph Speed Limit) Order 2022 Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to revoke The County of Wiltshire (Various Roads, Quidhampton, Wilton and Netherhampton) (40mph Speed Limit) Order 2014 and re-enact it in the above Orders and to introduce a 40mph speed limit on A3094 Netherhampton Road, Netherhampton and Salisbury - from a point 475 metres west of its junction with Wellworthy Drive for a distance of 380 metres in a westerly direction. Deposit copies of the Order, plans and Statement of the Council's Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours.
