Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of C140 High Street from its junction with Rectory Lane to its junction with Manor Close for a distance of approximately 58 metres. The reason for the closure is to carry out sewer repairs.

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of 400597 Back Lane from its junction with Main Road to its junction with Minor Road from Back Lane for a distance of approximately 105 metres.

Temporary Closure Of Public Footpath Hmm 14 (Moreton In Marsh Town) Cotswold District

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council has made an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Public Footpath HHM 14 from its junction with Fosseway Avenue extending in a generally southerly direction for approximately 130 metres before going in easterly direction across the railway for 25 metres and then a further 130 metres in a northerly direction and 190 metres in an easterly direction to its junction with the Allotment Gardens off Evenlode Road.
The Footpath falls within the Town of Lechlade in the Cotswold District, in the County of Gloucestershire.
The closure is necessary to protect the public whilst work is undertaken to upgrade the crossing. The Order will come into force from the 3rd October 2022 at 08:00. It is expected the Footpath will remain closed until 15:00 on the 21st October 2022. This Order can remain in force for six months. However, if a longer period of time is required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.

Gloucestershire County Council has made and Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) part of the roads as described in the schedule.

The Roads fall within Little Rissington Parish in the Cotswold District, Gloucestershire as described in the schedule.


The closure is necessary for urgent ash die back tree works to be undertaken.

The Road was originally closed by Urgent Notice commencing 20th September 2022. The
works will not be completed within the 5 days authorised by the Notice and so it is necessary
to extend the closure by and Order, which can authorise the closure of the Roads for up to
eighteen months from the date of the original Notice. The roads are expected to be closed
on a rolling programme where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the
closures are in force. The roads are expected to re-open on the 30th September 2022.

The alternative route: as signed on site. Emergency access and pedestrian access will not
be maintained due to the size of the machinery and the nature of the works.
