LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET
THE BARNET (FREE PARKING PLACES, LOADING PLACES, WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO.**) ORDER 20**

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under Section 6 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

In order to prevent obstructive parking, improve traffic flow, improve sightlines and general road safety, the general effect of the Free Order would be to introduce new and amend existing waiting restrictions, introduce new loading restrictions and introduce new no stopping restrictions in the Millway NW7 area as follows:

- Introduce New 'at any time' waiting restrictions would be provided around the junctions of Millway and Watford Way (A1) NW7; Millway and Russell Grove NW7 and Millway and Weymouth Avenue NW7.

- introduce a length of No waiting restrictions operating 7.30am to 6pm Monday to Saturday at Millway NW7 (Side of No.21 The Broadway NW7). As a result of this measure being introduced, 3 disabled permit holders only parking spaces operating "at any time" would be removed.

- introduce a length of new No loading 'At any time' restriction on Millway NW7 (Side of No.21 The Broadway NW7)

- upgrade a length of existing 11am to 12 Midday Monday to Friday waiting restrictions to No waiting 'At any time' restrictions outside No.2 and No.4 Millway NW7.

- upgrade a length of existing 11am to 12 Midday Monday to Friday waiting restrictions outside No.30 Millway NW7 (Busy Bees Nursery) to operate between the hours of 7.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday.

- introduced a length of No loading restrictions operating 7.30am to 9.30am and 4pm to 6pm Monday to Saturday outside No.2 and No.4 Millway and at the side of No.21 The Broadway NW7 (Millway).

- introduce a length of No stopping on school entrance markings restrictions operating between the hours of 7.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday on the northeast side of Millway outside No.30 Millway NW7 (Busy Bees Nursery).

A copy of the proposed Order, associated plan of the relevant areas and the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order can be obtained, inclusive for a period of 28 days from the date on which this notice is published, by emailing parking. consultations@barnet.gov.uk or by writing to the Design Team, Highways Section, 7th Floor, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale, London NW9 4EW.
