Section 14(1) Of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) C151 (Part), Castle Combe; from outside its property known as Preedy Cottage for a distance of approximately 30m in a northerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out sewage pumping station, maintenance and associated works. Alternative route via C151 (unaffected length) - B4039 - A420 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 23 October 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 06:00 and 18:00 for 1 day. B) Allington Lane (Part), All Cannings; from outside its property known as No.02 Manor Farm for a distance of approximately 45m in an easterly direction. C) Allington Lane (Part), All Cannings; from outside its property known as Park Farm to outside property known as Park View to enable Openreach to carry out access to the network to carry out pole test and associated works. Alternative route via Allington Lane (unaffected length) - C8 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 27 October 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. D) C151 (Part), North Wraxall; from its junction with A420 for a distance of approximately 140m in a south westerly direction to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out highway drainage works and other associated works. Alternative route A via C151 (unaffected length) - Doncombe Lane - C71 - A420 and vice versa. Alternative route B via A420 - C164 - C179 - Ford C151 south east to junction C179 south of Toplands Farm and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 24 October 2022 and the closure will be required for 3 days. E) C81 (Part), Charlton, Lea and Cleverton; from its junction with B4040 for a distance of approximately 210m in a southerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out excavation work to lower pipe work and other associated works. Alternative route via B4040 - Milbourne Lane - C67 - C81 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 24 October 2022 and the closure will be required for 5 days. F) Marlborough Road, Royal Wootton Bassett; from its junction with C15 to its junction with New Road to enable Thames Water to carry out the connection of a new commercial supply and associated works. Alternative route via C15 - C120 - C131 - A3102 - New Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 24 October 2022 and the closure will be required for 5 days. G) Tetbury Lane (Part), Crudwell; from outside its property known as Ridgeway Cottage for a distance of approximately 20m in an easterly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out service disconnection and associated works. Alternative route via Tetbury Lane (unaffected length) - A429 - C80 - B4014 out of county and Crudwell Lane and vice versa. H) Rowden Lane (Part), Chippenham; from its junction with A4 for a distance of approximately 20m in a south easterly direction to enable Scottish and Southern Power Distribution to carry out dismantling of overhead network and replacement with underground supply and associated works. Alternative route via A4 - Melksham Road - Coppice Close and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 24 October 2022 and the closure will be required until 30 October 2022. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: I) C92 (Part), Hankerton; from outside its property known as No.03 Follyfield for a distance of approximately 25m in a northerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out service repairs and associated works. Alternative route via C92 (unaffected length) - A429 - Five Lanes - Tetbury Lane - B4040 - C98 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 03 October 2022 and the closure will be required for 3 days. For further information please contact Wessex Water on 0345 600 4600. J) Pound Hill (Part), St Paul Malmesbury Without; from outside its property known as Pound Hill Cottage for a distance of approximately 30m in a north westerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out replacement of stop tap and associated works. Alternative route via Pound Hill (unaffected length) - Junction with Grange Lane West to Trinity Farm - C82 - C96 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 03 October 2022 and the closure will be required for 3 days. For further information please contact Wessex Water on 0345 600 4600. K) Gaston Lane (Part), Sherston; from its junction with Footpath 41, Sherston for a distance of approximately 40 metres in a westerly direction to enable Bristol Water to carry out remedial works in carriageway and associated works. Alternative route east bound only via Church Street - Easton Town - Easton Square. This Order which previously came into operation on 15 June 2022 will now recommence on 03 October 2022 and the closure will be required for 2 days. For further information please contact Bristol Water on 07919 030860. Orders A) to J) will have a maximum duration of 18 months, Order K) has a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all users: Bridleway 4 (Part), Sherston; from its junction with Footpath 30, Sherston for a distance of approximately 50m in westerly direction to enable to undertake works associated with installing a sewerage scheme. Alternative route via public highway. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 03 October 2022 and the closure will be required until 08 October 2022. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 06 months.

Section 14(1) Of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all users: Footpath 13 (Part) Latton; from its junction with Footpath 3, Latton, to its junction with Bridleway 13, Latton to enable replacement of culvert under the river churn, associated works to river banks and bed, and adjacent siphon. Alternative route via existing alternative rights of way. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This closure which was due to finish on 02 October 2022 will now continue into force until 13 February 2023. It is anticipated the closure will be required for 06 months. The Order has a maximum duration of 06 months. Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Traffic Management Act 2004

The County of Wiltshire (Royal Wootton Bassett) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting, Taxi Rank Clearways and On Street Parking) Consolidation Order 2016 (Amendment No.3) Order 2022 Notice is hereby given that on 23 September 2022 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act of 1984") and the Traffic Management Act 2004 to amend the following restrictions in the Royal Wootton Bassett Consolidation Order 2016 by revoking Map Schedule Nos BO68 and BL69 dated 11/03/2016 and replacing them by the insertion of Map Schedule Nos BO68 and BL69 dated 03/10/2022 the effect of which will be as follows: 1. To revoke the current Parking Mon-Sat 8am - 6pm 2 hours No return within 2 hours and replacement with No waiting at any time on the following lengths of road: High Street - north side - from a point 42 metres north east of its junction with Station Road for a distance of 6 metres; High Street - south side - from a point 42 metres north east of its junction with Station Road for a distance of 3 metres. 2. To carry out an admin only change on Map Schedule BL69 to adjust the positioning of the restriction label displayed, no changes will take place on the ground. Please note this was also previously advertised along with proposals to extend a number of pedestrian crossing on the High Street which will also be going ahead as advertised.

Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the Act of 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act of 1984 or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Order will come into operation on
3 October 2022.
