Wallisdown Road Poole, Temporary Traffic Notice

BOURNEMOUTH, CHRISTCHURCH AND POOLE COUNCIL
WALLISDOWN ROAD, POOLE - IMPROVEMENT WORKS WESTBOUND ROAD CLOSURE AMENDMENT TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2022 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council, in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, has made temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.

WHERE & WHAT:
- Wallisdown Road between the junctions of Bryant Road and Scott Road - road closed in a westbound direction only. No parking, no waiting, no loading/unloading at any time.
- Astbury Avenue closed to all vehicles at its junction with Wallisdown Road
- Sunnymoor Road closed to all vehicles at its junction with Wallisdown Road

WHEN: From 9am on Monday 10 October to Friday 16 December 2022

WHY: to facilitate improvement works to footway/ drainage/cycleway and carriageway on behalf of BCP.
ACCESS: Full Emergency Service access will be maintained. Access to Businesses maintained. DIVERSION: Kinson Road, Turbary Park Road, Poole Lane, Ringwood Road

VIEW AT:

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
The Council regrets any inconvenience caused by this Traffic Order.
