(Unclassified road 32.4 Whitfield Brow, Bollihope Common, Frosterley) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 340 metres of unclassified road 32.4 that extends southwards from its junction with C76 toward Whitfield Brow, Bollihope Common, Frosterley to enable carriageway resurfacing works to be undertaken. There is no alternative route available to vehicular during the works but access will be afforded to emergency service vehicles at all times and for residents at the works supervisors discretion. The maximum duration of the Older is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 14/10/22 and are anticipated to be completed in 6 hours. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
