The Borough of Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council

(Moorside Road, Edgworth) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

NOTICE is hereby given that the Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, intend to make the above Order under Section 14 (1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order is to close Moorside Road from its junction with Blackburn Road to its junction with Neville Fold Farm on Moorside Road.

The closure is necessary for the following reason: FOR A MAJOR ELECTRICAL PROJECT FOR CONNECTION TO NEVILLE FOLD FARM ON MOORSIDE ROAD TO SUBSTATION

The Order will come into force on 10th October 2022 and shall continue in force for a period of eighteen months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 28th October 2022. The alternative route for the affected traffic will be Blackburn Road to Broadhead Road to east side of Neville Fold Farm on Moorside Road and vice versa.
