NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey on the 26th September 2022 has made the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 32, 45, 46, 49, 51 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and Section 23 Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to implement a Zebra Crossing on Wakefield Road N15.

The general effect of the Orders:


1. To introduce double yellow lines (No Waiting at Any Time) on the west side of Wakefield Road N15 outside No.17, a distance of 2.4 metres.

2. To remove Resident Parking Bay on the west side of Wakefield Road N15 outside No.17 to a point adjacent to No.31 Pembroke Road, a distance of 43.5 metres.

3. To remove Permit Parking Bay on the east side of Wakefield Road N15 opposite No.17 to a point opposite No.31 Pembroke Road, a distance of 41.1 metres.

The above parking changes are required to facilitate the installation of the below Zebra Crossings and associated zig-zag markings. The crossings would be supported with associated zig-zag markings, on which vehicles would be prohibited from stopping at all times. These will be placed on the carriageway either side of the crossing; no more than 17 metres in both directions.

A Zebra Crossing will be introduced on Wakefield Road N15, with the centre located 5.9 metres south of the shared property boundary of No.13/11.

Date of operation:
The Order will come into operation on 24th October 2022.

Application to the high court:
Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it does not comply with the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
