Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Witney/Curbridge - Downs Road

Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 26 September 2022 Coming into force: 3 October 2022 This Order is being introduced because of carriageway patching/surfacing works which are anticipated to be completed 14 October 2022. This will operate between 19:00 and 06:00hrs. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit through traffic proceeding in Downs Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.
Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Burford Road, Dear Park Road, A4095, Main Road, Downs Road.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T10941/AC)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Temporary Prohibition of Waiting & Loading Witney, Avenue Two

Date of Order: 26 September 2022 Coming into force: 4 October 2022 This Order continues in force a parking/waiting suspension commenced 21 September 2022 by emergency Notice. The order extends the provisions of the restrictions until approximately 30 October 2022. The effect of the order is to prohibit waiting and loading in part of Avenue Two in Witney to complete site access and kerbing works at. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exceptions are included for emergency service vehicles. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T10942(EM)/MR)
