LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY
The Bromley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 2003 (Amendment No. ***) Order 202*.
(Various Locations)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the Order would be to:-

(a) introduce/extend/reduce waiting restrictions as set out in the Schedule to this Notice;

(b) convert existing waiting restrictions operating between 8am and 6.30pm on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive on both sides of Thicket Road, Penge to operating at any time as specified in the Schedule to this Notice;

(c) convert existing waiting restrictions operating between 8am and 6.30pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive on the west side of South Eden Park Road Beckenham to operating 8am and 6.30pm on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive as specified in the Schedule to this Notice;

(d) relocate an existing bicycle hangar on the north west side of Hamlet Road, Penge from outside No. 12 to outside No. 8 Hamlet Road.

Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Orders.
Copies of the proposed Order, of the plans of the schemes and of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be made available by emailing traffic@bromley.gov.uk during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays.

ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director of Environment and Public Protection, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, BR1 3UH, quoting reference ADE(TP)/RP/T100/730 not later than 19th October 2022.

Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.

SCHEDULE:-

WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS
No Waiting At Any Time:-


BECK LANE, Beckenham, (a) the south west and north west sides, from a point opposite the south eastern wall of No. 38 Beck Lane south eastwards and south westwards for a distance of 12.2m (b) the north east and east sides, from the common boundary of Nos. 17 and 18 Central Terrace south eastwards and southwards for a distance of 11m; (c) the north east, north and north west sides, from a point 15.3m south west of the common boundary of Nos. 30 and 32 Beck Lane south westwards, westwards and north westwards for a distance of 5.4m; (d) the south west and south sides, from a point 3.3m south west of the south western boundary of No. 35 Beck Lane westwards and north westwards for a distance of 8.2m.


BOURNE VALE, Hayes, (a) the east side, from a point 10m north of the northern kerbline of Mead Way to a point 14.4m south of the southern kerbline of Mead Way; (b) the west side, from a point 10m north of the northern kerbline of Mead Way to a point 14m south of the southern kerbline of Mead Way.


HAMLET ROAD, Anerley, (a) the south east side, from a point 2.3m north east of the north eastern kerbline of Maberley Road to a point 5m south west of the south western kerbline of Maberley Road.


HAYES  LANE, Hayes, (a) the east side, from a point 14.7m north of the northern kerbline of Mead Way to a point 5m south of the southern kerbline of Mead Way; (b) the west side, from a point 20m north of the northern kerbline of Mead Way to a point 12.8m south of the southern kerbline of Mead Way.


HIGHLAND CROFT, Beckenham, (a) the west, south west, south, west, north west, north and north east sides, from the north western kerb line of Beckenham Hill Road, on the west side, to a point 4.4m south east of the common boundary of Nos. 8 and 10 Highland Court on the north east side, fronting the flank wall of No. 186 Beckenham Hill Road, Nos. 1 to 11 inclusive Highland Croft and Nos. 8 to 16 inclusive Highland Croft.


LAYHAMS ROAD, West Wickham, (a) the north east side from a point 70m south east of the south eastern boundary of No. 1 Layhams Road south eastwards for a distance of 20m.


MABERLEY ROAD, Anerley, (a) the north east side, from the south eastern kerbline of Hamlet Road south eastwards for a distance of 10m; (b) the south west side, from the south eastern kerbline of Hamlet Road south eastwards for a distance of 10m.


MEAD WAY, Hayes, (a) (i) the north side, from a point 10m west of the western kerbline of Bourne Vale to a point 27.1m east of the eastern kerbline of Bourne Vale; (ii) the north side, from a point 12.8m west of the western kerbline of Hayes Lane to a point 5m east of the eastern kerbline of Hayes Lane; (b) (i) the south side, from a point 10m west of the western kerbline of Bourne Vale to a point 26.9m east of the eastern kerbline of Bourne Vale; (ii) the south side, from a point 15m west of the western kerbline of Hayes Lane to a point 5m east of the eastern kerbline of Hayes Lane.


MONTRAVE ROAD, Penge, (a) the north east side, from the south eastern kerbline of Mosslea Road south eastwards for a distance of 5m; (b) the south west side, from the south eastern kerbline of Mosslea Road south eastwards for a distance of 5m; (c) the north east, south east and south west sides, from the south eastern boundary of No. 1 Montrave Road, on the north east side, south eastwards, south westwards and north westwards aato the south eastern boundary of No. 2 Montrave Road, on the south west side.


MOSSLEA ROAD, Penge, (a) the south east side, from a point 5m north east of the north eastern kerbline of Montrave Road to a point 5m south west of the south western kerbline of Montrave Road.


OVERBURY AVENUE, Beckenham, (a) the north side, from the eastern kerbline of Wickham Road eastwards for a distance of 10m; (b) the south side, from the eastern kerbline of Wickham Road eastwards for a distance of 10m.


THICKET ROAD, Penge (a) the north west side from the south western kerbline of High Street south westwards for a distance of 55m (b) the south east side, from the south western kerbline of High Street south westwards for a distance of 18.3m.


WICKHAM ROAD, Beckenham (a) the east side, from a point from a point 10m north of the northern kerbline of Overbury Avenue to a point 10m south of the southern kerbline of Overbury Avenue.


WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS
No Waiting between 8.00a.m. and 6.30p.m. on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive:-


HAMLET ROAD, Anerley, (a) the north west side, from a point 0.6m south west of the common boundary of Nos. 8 and 10 Hamlet Road south westwards for a distance of 14m


MOSSLEA ROAD, Penge, (a) the north west side, from a point eastern kerbline of High Street north eastwards for a distance of 10m; (b) the south east side, the north west side, from a point eastern kerbline of High Street north eastwards for a distance of 10m.


SOUTH EDEN PARK ROAD, Beckenham, (a) the west side, from the common boundary of Nos. 97 and 99 South Eden Park Road to a point 63m north of the northern boundary of No. 109 South Eden Park Road.
