PLANNING AND LISTED BUILDING APPLICATIONS
The following applications have been submitted to the Council.
A copy of all applications, plans and other documents submitted may be viewed online via http://www3.threerivers.gov.uk/online-applications/. Alternatively they can be inspected on computer screens at Three Rivers House, Northway, Rickmansworth WD3 1RL between the hours of 9.00 am and 5.00pm. (Monday to Friday).
Any representations on an application can be made using the Planning Online website as above, or by emailing dconline@threerivers.gov.uk. Emails must include the application reference number and site address. Representations must include your name and postal address.
Under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments can only be taken into account if they are available for public inspection before the application is decided.

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (GENERAL PERMITTED DEVELOPMENT) (ENGLAND) ORDER 2015 (AS AMENDED) PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OF MAKING A NON-IMMEDIATE DIRECTION UNDER ARTICLE 4 (1)
Notice is HEREBY GIVEN that on the 23 September 2022 Three Rivers District (("the Council") has made a Direction ("the Direction") under Article 4 (1) of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development)
(England) Order 2015 (as amended) ("the Order").
The Direction withdraws the permitted development right granted by Class MA in Part 3 of Schedule 2 of the GPDO for development consisting of a change of use of a building and any land within its curtilage to a use falling within Class C3 (dwelling houses) of Schedule 1 to the Town and Country Planning (Use Classes Order) 1987 (as amended) ("Use Classes Order") from a use falling within Class E (commercial, business and services uses) in Schedule 2 of the Use Classes Order.
The effect of the Direction is that once it comes into force permitted development rights for this type of development are withdrawn and that a grant of planning permission will therefore be required for a change of use of a building from a use within Class E of the Use Classes Order to a use within Class C3 of the Use Classes Order in the areas specified below. The Direction relates to all land and buildings within the defined areas being:
1. Croxley Business Park
2. Maple Cross/ Maple Lodge Employment Area
3. Tolpits Lane Employment Area
4. Kings Langley Employment Area
5. Leavesden Park
6. Rickmansworth Town Centre
7. Chorleywood District Centre
8. Abbots Langley District Centre
9. South Oxhey District Centre

In accordance with the GPDO, it is proposed the Direction shall come into force on 23 September 2023 subject to consideration of any representations and confirmation by the Council.
Any representations concerning the introduction of the Article 4(1) Directions on the above employment land should be sent to the Council during the 6 week period of public consultation commencing on 23 September 2022 until 04 November 2022. Representations concerning the Article 4 Direction can be made from the date of this notice and no later than 04 November 2022.
