THE BOROUGH OF WATFORD (VARIOUS ROADS, PART B WATFORD) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Watford Borough Council, acting as agents for Hertfordshire County Council proposes to make the above-mentioned Order pursuant to arrangements made under Section 19 of the Local Government Act 2000 and the Local Government (Arrangements for Discharge of Functions) (England) Regulations 2000 with the Hertfordshire County Council (the County), and in exercise of the powers conferred on that County under sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 46A, 47, 49, 51 and 53 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and Part 6 of The Traffic Management Act 2004 and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act.
1. The general effect of the order would be to provide 'No Waiting At Any Time' waiting restriction at the following locations.
On King George Avenue, east side of its junction with Whippendell Road
At the junction of Fairfolds with Bowmans Green
On Lingfield Way, at junction with Nascot Wood Road and on the south west side
On the east side of Ridge Lane, between property no. 110 and 104
On Hempstead Road from its junction with Courtlands Drive
On the Glen Way from its junction with Hempstead Road
At the junction of Stanbury Avenue with Glen Way
On the southern side of Appletree Walk, just east of The Conifers
On the east side of Orbital Crescent between property no. 38 and no. 32
On both sides of Leggatts Rise from its junction with Rushton Avenue
On the south side of North Approach between property no. 221 and Kingsway Infant School
On the north side of Garston Drive from its junction with St. Albans Road
On the south side of North Western Avenue (slip road), No. 210 - 196
At the junction of Cobb Green with Newhouse Crescent
On the north side of Newhouse Crescent, between property no. 86/88 and no. 76/78.
2. The effect of the order is to provide 'No Loading At Any Time' waiting restriction at the following locations:
On both sides of the western end of the Vicarage Road junction with Rose Gardens
At the junction of Meadow Road with Briar Road
On the south side of North Western Avenue (slip road), No. 210 - 196
On Newhouse Crescent and at junction with Horseshoe Lane
