Road Traffic Restrictions (Amendment No.6) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that Darlington Borough Council has made an Order under Sections 1,2, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49 and 53 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of the Traffic Management Act 2004. The effect of the Order, which comes into operation on the 26th September 2022, is to:
1. amend the lengths of road in Woodland Road on which there is a no waiting and no loading/ unloading at any time restriction
2. amend the lengths of road in Woodland Road on which there is a no waiting at any time restriction
3. remove the no waiting Mon-Sat 9am-5pm restrictions in parts of Outram Street
4. introduce a no waiting restriction in part of Outram Street
5. introduce limited waiting parking Mon-Sat 9am-5pm (max stay 2 hours) to the east side of Outram Street - from a point 3.2m to a point 15.2m south of its junction with Woodland Road
6. amend the lengths of Outram Street which are designated residents parking
7. remove the residents parking designation from Eskdale Street North Back and from the south side of Woodland Road - from the eastern boundary 29 Woodland Road westwards for a distance of 30m
B. move the following properties eligible for a residents parking permit from Zone I to Zone A - 11-41 and 57-71 Woodland Road
The Order amends the Darlington Borough Council (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading) Consolidation Order 2019; the Darlington Borough Council (On Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2019 and the Darlington Borough Council (Residents Parking) Consolidation Order 2019. traffic-regulation-orders-and-consultations If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any provision of it on the grounds that it is not within the power of the relevant section of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or of any requirement of that Act or any enactment made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order you may within six weeks from the date of this notice apply to the High Court for this purpose.
