County of the West Riding of Yorkshire) Definitive Map and Statement
Public Footpath Askham Bryan 9 (Part) Creation Order 2019 & Public
Footpath Askham Bryan 9 (Part) Extinguishment Order 2019
On 16 August 2022, the Secretary of State confirmed the above-named
Orders with a modification that does not require advertising.
The effect of the confirmed Orders is to create part of a public footpath between
SE 5538 4762 & SE 5552 4767 running along the raised footway to Askham
Fields Lane and to extinguish part of a public footpath between SE 5538 4762
on Askham Fields Lane and SE 5548 4737 beside the A64 and to modify the
above-named Definitive Map and Statement accordingly.

and during normal offices hours
at City of York Council, West Offices, Station Rise, York, Y01 6GA until
4 November 2022. Alternatively, you may write to the Rights of Way Officer at
City of York Council, West Offices, Station Rise, York, Y01 6GA requesting a copy of the Orders.
The Orders came into force on the date of confirmation, but if any person aggrieved by the Orders wishes to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Orders, they may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 42 days of the date of this notice, make an application to the High Court.
