(C76 Frosterley Bridge, Mellbutts Bank, Frosterley) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 1679/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 210 of Mellbutts Bank that extends southwards from the Black Bull Public House across Frosterley Bridge, Frosterley to enable bridge inspection works to be undertaken. Alternative route from the northern side of the closure from the junction of Mellbutts Bank westerly on A689 to Stanhope then southwards on B6278 to the junction with C76 which leads east then north east to the southern side of the closure, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 27/9/22 from 8.30am and are anticipated to be completed in 4 hours. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
