Frogmore Road, Temporary Road Closure

Section 14(1) Of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Frogmore Road (Part), Westbury; from its property known as No.47 Frogmore Road to its property known as No.39 Frogmore Road to enable Wessex Water to carry out manhole cover and associated works. Alternative route via Frogmore Road (unaffected length) - The Mead - A350 - Frogmore Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 21 October 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 for 1 day. B) Old Dilton Road (Part), Dilton Marsh; for a distance of approximately 90m either side of the railway bridge to enable Network Rail infrastructure Ltd to carry out bridge and associated works. Alternative route via Old Dilton Road (unaffected length) - A350 - A3098 - C235 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 22 October 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 22:00 and 06:00 for 2 nights. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: C) Haugh (Part), Winsley; from its junction with Harley for a distance of approximately 420m in a westerly direction to enable Scottish and Southern Power Distribution to carry out cutting tree from overhead power lines and associated works. Alternative route via Hartley - Haugh (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 26 September 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:30 and 16:00 for 1 day. For further information please contact GTM on behalf of Scottish and Southern Power Distribution on 01787 237509. Orders A) to C) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
