Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2022
(Restriction of waiting on Alexander Road, Ellis Road, Homefield Road and Withers Road, Worcester.

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to Revoke Restriction on Waiting Mon-Fri 9am-5pm and replace with Restriction on Waiting between 9am- 5pm on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester:
Alexander Road (Northwest side): from a point 28 metres from its junction with A449 Malvern Road to its junction with Ellis Road; Alexander Road (Southeast side): from a point 14 metres from its junction with A449 Malvern Road for a distance of 85 metres in a south westerly direction. Ellis Road (Both sides): from its junction with Alexander Road to its junction with Homefield Road (including around the island); Homefield Road (Both sides): from its junction with Ellis Road to its junction with Withers Road (including around the island); Withers Road (North side): from its junction with Homefield Road to a point 16 metres southwest of its junction with A449 Malvern Road; Withers Road (South side): from its junction with Homefield Road to its junction with Alexander Road (including around the island and both sides of the link road to Alexander Road).

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.

(Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Proposed Order: to close that part of U43402 Dogbut Lane from its junction with U43407 Wood Lane to its junction with B4092 Mile Post Lane to Edgiock Cross
Roads.
Reason: Tree maintenance by Western Power Distribution.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U43407 Wood Lane, A441 The Ridgeway, B4090 Saltway and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day Commencing: 18 October 2022.

(U62028 Sparrowhall Lane, Powick)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Order made: to close that part of U62028 Sparrowhall Lane from its junction with A449 Malvern Road to its junction with C2027 Collets Green Road.
Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2027 Collets Green Road, U62022 Old Malvern Road, A449 Malvern Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days Commencing: 26 September 2022.

(Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Order made: to close that part of U43210 Church Lane from its junction with C2225 Bishampton Road to its junction with C2010 Radford Road.
Reason: New customer connection by A G Redman & Son Ltd.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2010 Radford Road, C2225 Bishampton Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days Commencing: 26 September 2022.

(Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Order made: to close that part of C2064 Longley Green from its junction with C2064 Longley Green to Stocks Lane, Alfrick & C1142 Birchwood Road to its junction with U62217 Suckley & C2064 Malvern Hills Boundary to Longley Green.
Reason: Roadside maintenance works by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2064 Longley Green to Stocks Lane, Alfrick, C2064 Alfrick Pound, C2233 Alfrick, C2244 Workhouse Bank, C2244 Crews Hill, C2244 Suckley, C2070 Suckley, C2064 Malvern Hills Boundary to Longley Green and vice versa.

Order made: to close that part of U62004 Pixham from its junction with B4424 Old Hills to its junction with U62005 Lower Ferry Lane.
Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4424 Old Hills, U62006 Upper Ferry Lane, U62005 Lower Ferry Lane and vice versa.

Order made: to close that part of U62006 Upper Ferry Lane from its junction with B4424 Upton Road to its junction with U62005 Lower Ferry Lane.
Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: B4424 Upton Road, U62004 Pixham Ferry Lane, U62005 Lower Ferry Lane and vice versa.

Order made: to close that part of U51010 Vigornia Avenue from its junction with U51009 Mayfield Avenue to its junction with U51007 Gillam Street.
Reason: Street lighting replacement by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: U51009 Mayfield Avenue, U51007 Gillam Street and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day Commencing: 28 September 2022.

(Temporary Closure) and (Reversing the One-Way) Order 2022

Order made: to close that part of U54254 Bromwich Lane from its junction with A449 Bromwich Road to its junction with U54254 Bromwich Lane.
(NB: The One-Way system on Bromwich Lane is to be temporarily reversed for the duration of the works). Reason: Street lighting repairs by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Order made: to close that part of U62005 Lower Ferry Lane from its junction with U62004 Pixham Ferry Lane to its junction with B4424 Upton Road.
Reason: Carriageway Patching by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: B4424 Upton Road, U62004 Pixham Ferry Lane and vice versa.

(Link Footpath F50028 Meadowbank Drive (between no.31 & 43), Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Order made: to close that part of Link Footpath F50028 Meadowbank Drive (between no.31 & 43) from its junction with U54174 Meadow Bank Drive to its junction with A44 Bromyard Road.
Reason: Footpath reconstruction by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: A44 Bromyard Road, U54174 Meadow Bank Drive, Footpath F50028 Meadowbank Drive (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days Commencing: 26 September 2022.

(Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Proposed Order: to close that part of C1313 Suckley from its junction with C2070 Suckley to its junction with C1313 Suckley Road with Herefordshire Border.
Reason: Edge of carriageway works by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2070 Suckley, C2064 Malvern Hills into Herefordshire and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 40 days Commencing: 17 October 2022.

(U52009 Lichfield Avenue/U52008 Exeter Road/U52007 Wells Road, Worcester)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Order made: to close that part of: Closure 1. U52009 Lichfield Avenue from its junction U52009 Lichfield Avenue Roundabout to its junction with U52004 Canterbury Road. Closure 2: U52008 Exeter Road from its junction with U52009 Lichfield Avenue Roundabout to its junction with U520006 Durham Road.
Closure 3: U52007 Wells Road from its junction with U52009 Lichfield Avenue Roundabout to its junction with U52006 Durham Road.
Reason: Sewer works by J. Murphy & Sons Ltd.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: Diversion 1: U52009 Lichfield Avenue - U52004 Canterbury Road, U52011 Westminster Road and vice versa. Diversion 2: U52008
Exeter Road - U52006 Durham Road, U52007 Wells Road, U52009 Lichfield Avenue Roundabout and vice versa. Diversion 3: U52007 Wells Road - U52006 Durham Road, U52008 Exeter Road, U52009 Lichfield Avenue Roundabout and vice versa.
NB: Closures will run concurrently during this period. Closure 1: U52009 Lichfield Avenue from 08/11-09/11. Closure 2: U52008 Exeter Road from 22/9-11/10. Closure 3: U52007 Wells Road 12/10-7/11.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 49 days Commencing: 22 September 2022.

(U41022 Dilmore Avenue, North Claines)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Proposed Order: to close that part of U41022 Dilmore Avenue from its junction with C2138 Dilmore Lane for a distance of 460 metres in an East South Easterly direction.
Reason: Footway Reconstruction by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: U41022 Dilmore Avenue, U41018 Shrawley Road, U41008 Station Road, A38 Droitwich Road, C2138 Dilmore Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 15 days Commencing: 17 October 2022.

(U60000 Taylors Lane, Kempsey)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Proposed Order: to close that part of U60000 Taylors Lane from its junction with C2055 Norton Road to its junction with A38 Worcester Road.
Reason: Overhead works by Openreach.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2055 Norton Road, A4440 Broomhall Way, A38 Worcester Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days Commencing: 17 October 2022.

(U52309 Green Hill London Road, Worcester)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Order made: to close that part of U52309 Green Hill London Road from its junction with A44 London Road to its junction with U52313 Green Hill London Road. Reason: Retaining Wall Repairs by Graham Facilities Management.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U52309 St Dunstans Crescent, U52131 Battenhall Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months from 19 September. Anticipated duration: 5 days Commencing: 24 September 2022.

(A38 Foregate Street, Worcester)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Proposed Order: to close that part of A38 Foregate Street from its junction with U53111 Angel Street to its junction with A449 Castle Street.
Reason: Road maintenance by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A449 Castle Street, A449 Croft Road, A44 Dolday, B4205 The Butts, B4205 Shaw Street.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days Commencing: 17 October 2022.

Reason: Replace/renew manhole cover/frame by Customer Solutions Plus.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: A38 Foregate Street, A449 Castle Street, A449 Croft Road, A44 Dolday, B4205 The Butts and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day Commencing: 16 October 2022.
