Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council is seeking planning permission for a new vehicle parking area, new and revised accesses, acoustic security fencing, landscaping and ancillary works proposed in association with approved planning application ref: CC/HLW/21/17 at land between River Way and A1184 (Cambridge Road), Harlow - Application Ref: CC/HLW/84/22 The proposed development may not accord with the provisions of the Harlow Local Development Plan (2020) in force in the area which the land to which the application relates is situated. (Chalk Lane/Harlow Tye Road, Matching) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chalk Lane/ Harlow Tye Road, Matching (including spur) in the District of Epping Forest, from the junction with Hobbs Cross Road to the junction with Matching Green Road a distance of approximately 1760m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th October 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2334102 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while manhole cover and brickwork repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Matching Road, Moor Hall Road, Sheering Road, Churchgate Street, Hobbs Cross Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 29th September 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Church Lane, Sheering) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Lane, Sheering in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 60m southeast of its junction with The Street for a distance of approximately 35m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th October 2022 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ7011001175423 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Cadent. An alternative route is available via Church Lane, Matching Parsonage Farm Lane, Harlow Road, Matching Tye Road, Downhall Road, Matching Road, Sheering Road, Hatfield Heath Road, The Street and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 29th September 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Epping Lane, Theydon Mount/Theydon Garnon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Epping Lane, Theydon Mount/Theydon Garnon in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 1360m northeast of the junction with Abridge Road for a distance of approximately 625m in a northeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th October 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008PTMS407121A & B - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Epping Lane, Abridge Road, Ongar Road, Passingford Bridge Roundabout, London Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 29th September 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(High Road, Loughton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of High Road, Loughton in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Warren Hill to its junction with Avenue Gate a distance of approximately 360m.

2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' in that length of High Road, Loughton in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Warren Hill to its junction with Avenue Gate a distance of approximately 360m for the duration of the above closure only.

"The Essex County Council (Epping Forest District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th October 2022 for 5 nights (20:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2333190 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while CCTV and drainage repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via High Road, Church Hill, Goldings Hill, Wake Arms Roundabout, Epping New Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 29th September 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Hookfield, Harlow) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hookfield, Harlow in the District of Harlow, from its junction with Tawneys Road for a distance of approximately 200m in a southwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th October 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2333689 -Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

(New Way Lane, Matching) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of New Way Lane, Matching in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction
with Hobbs Cross Road to its junction with Faggoters Lane a distance of approximately 1880m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th October 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2334455 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carrigeway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Faggoters Lane, Workers Road, Threshers Bush, Tilegate Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 29th September 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Woodside, North Weald Bassett) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Woodside, North Weald Bassett in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with High Road to its junction with Epping Road a distance of approximately 1305m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st October 2022 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2333977 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while maintenance and sign installation works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Epping Road, The Plain, Thornwood Road, High Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 29th September 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Coldharbour Road, Harlow) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) & (Elizabeth Way, Harlow) (Temporary Introduction of No Right-Hand Turn & No Left-Hand Turn) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:


1. To temporarily close that length of Coldharbour Road, Harlow in the District of Harlow, from both of its junctions with Elizabeth Way for a distance of approximately 95m in both directions.

2. To temporarily introduce a No Right-Hand Turn from Elizabeth Way into Coldharbour Road from a northerly direction.

3. To temporarily introduce a No Left-Hand Turn from Elizabeth Way into Coldharbour Road from a southerly direction.

The closure/restrictions are scheduled to commence on 4th October 2022 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30082455290 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure/restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while cable installation works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via Coldharbour Road, Fourth Avenue, Elizabeth Way and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 15th September 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Daws Hill, Waltham Abbey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Daws Hill, Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Sewardstone Road for a distance of approximately 895m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd October 2022 for 2 nights (20:00-00:05), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2334895 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Sewardstone Road, Kings Head Hill, The Green, Path, Station Road, Rangers Road, Bury Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 15th September 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
