LICENSING ACT 2003 NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A PREMISES LICENCE UNDER SECTION 17

Notice is hereby given that on the 14th September 2022 T.J Morris Limited applied to Durham County Council for a Premises Licence in respect of premises Home Bargains, Unit 2 North Durham Retail Park, Pit Lane, Durham DH1 5ST. The proposed licensable activities are;- The sale by retail of alcohol for consumption off the premises on Mondays to Sundays between the hours of 00:00 to 24:00. Any representations by a responsible authority or any other person regarding this application must be received in writing by;- Durham County Council, Licensing Services, PO Box 617, Durham DH1 9HZ, or by email to

no later than the 12th October 2022 stating the grounds for representations. The register of Durham County Council and the record of the application may be inspected at the Council's office at Annand House, John Street North, Meadowfield, Durham DH7 8RS by appointment, on weekdays between 9.30am and 4.30 pm. It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
