Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14(1) The Metropolitan Borough Of Bury (Back Bolton
Rd South, Bury) Temporary Closure Order 2022

Notice Is Hereby Given

that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:-Back Bolton Rd South, Bury - from its junction with Arthur St for a distance of 100 m in a southerly direction

The reason for the proposed order is to install a BT pole.
The alternative route will be via Arthur St, Wellington St & Buxton St & vice-versa.
The proposed Order will come into operation on Tuesday 04 October 2022 and shall
remain in force for a period of up to 1 month, although the anticipated duration of the
works is 1 day.
