(Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic) Order 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lancashire County Council have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is to prohibit temporarily any pedestrian from proceeding over the Public Footpath indicated below:-Public Footpath 3-25-FP49 Mellor, Ribble Valley, from Point A (SD 3653 - 4304) in a generally northerly direction to Whitecroft Lane for approximately 65 metres to Point B (SD 3653 - 4305).

The closure is necessary whilst works are carried out on or near the footpath.

Access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the footpath, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from, and only from, the footpath, will be maintained at all times. Nothing in the order shall apply to emergency service vehicles or to those undertaking the works

The Order will be operative from the 17th September, 2022, for a period of 6 months or until the works are completed within this period.
