Notice is hereby given that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make Orders under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Cromwell Ave (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Cromwell Ave (southbound) from its jct. with Westbrook Way to its jct. with Ladywood Rd. The Order will be effective from 9pm on 4th October 2022 to 6am on 5th October 2022, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Westbrook Way & Westbrook Cres. The closure is required to allow British Telecom to carry out installation works. Ref: High/2387
Dane Bank Rd, Dane Bank Rd East & Adjacent St's (Prohibition of Driving & Clearway) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving & clearway as follows: Dane Bank Rd from its jct. with Brookfield Rd/Whitbarrow Rd to its jct. with Dane Bank Rd East; Dane Bank Rd East from its jct. with Dane Bank Rd to its jct. with New Rd; Brookfield Rd from its jct. with Dane Bank Rd for 25m; Whitbarrow Rd from its jct. with Dane Bank Rd for 25m in a south-easterly direction; Whitbarrow Rd from its jct. with Dane Bank Rd for 50m in a north-westerly direction; Lymmhay Ln from its jct. with Dane Bank Rd/Dane Bank Rd East for 25m. The Order will be effective from 17th October 2022 for 8 weeks, between 7pm & 1am, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Brookfield Rd, Eagle Brow, The Cross, New Ln & vice versa. The restrictions are required for carriageway resurfacing. Ref: High/2356
Synge St Passageway Rear of 1 to 7 & Orford Ave Passageway Rear of 36 to 80 (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving as follows: Synge St Passageway Rear of 1 to 7 from its jct. with Amelia St to its jct. with Orford Ave Passageway Rear of 36 to 80; Orford Ave Passageway Rear of 36 to 80 from its jct. with Fitzherbert St to its jct. with Synge St. The Order will be effective from 10th October 2022 for 1 week, as & when signed on site. The closure is required to allow United Utilities to carry out sewer repairs. Ref: High/2388

The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Bewsey Rd (southeast bound traffic) from its jct. with Gladstone St to its jct. with Tanners Ln. The Order will be effective from 26th September 2022 for 2 weeks, as & when signed on site. The alternative routes will be via Folly Ln, Kerfoot St, Winwick Rd, Pinners Brow, Winwick St, Tanners Ln & vice versa & via Lovely Ln, Priestley St, Froghall Ln & vice versa. The closure is required to allow Scottish Power to carry out a network connection works. Ref: High/2379
Charles Ave & Wilmot Ave (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving as follows: Charles Ave from its jct. with Wilmot Ave to its jct. with Cedar Rd; Wilmot Ave from its jct. with Charles Ave to its jct. with Halton Rd. The Order will be effective from 26th September 2022 for 2 weeks & will be implemented in phases as & when signed on site. The alternative routes will be Charles Ave via Wilmot Ave, Halton Rd & vice versa & Wilmot Ave via Charles Ave & vice versa. The restrictions are required for United Utilities to carry out sewer repairs.

Dam Ln, Croft (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Dam Ln from its jct. with Smithy Brow to its jct. with Smithy Ln. The Order will be effective from 28th September 2022 for 1 day, between 9:30am & 3:30pm, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Smithy Ln, Smithy Brow & vice versa. The closure is required to allow for the installation of a telegraph pole. Ref: High/2384

The effect of which is to introduce the following: Prohibition of Driving (between 5:30am & 2pm): Entire lengths of road: Ackers Rd; Bridge Foot; Bridge St; Cantilever Brg; Cantilever North West Approach; Cantilever South East Approach; Cantilever South West Approach; Chester Rd; Church St; Farrell St; Grammar School Rd; Grappenhall Rd; Hallaway; Holmesfield Rd; Howley Ln; Hunts Ln; Mersey St; Palmyra Sq Nth; Palmyra Sq Sth; Rylands St; Springfield St; Station Rd; Stockton Ln; Suez St; Warrington Old Brg; Warrington New Brg; Wash Ln; Wharf St; Winmarleigh St. Part lengths of road: Bold St from Rylands St to Bridge Foot; Church Ln from Chester Rd to Broad Ln; Knutsford Rd (westbound) from Hallaway to Wilderspool Cswy; Knutsford Rd (westbound) from Grammar School Rd to Hallaway; Knutsford Rd (eastbound) from Wilderspool Cswy to Thelwall Ln; Lumb Brook Rd from Chester Rd to Bridge Ln; Legh St from Sankey St to Regent St; Sankey St from Crosfield St to Bold St; Wilderspool Cswy from Chester Rd to Knutsford Rd; Wilson Patten St from Slutchers Ln to Bridge Foot. The Order will be effective from Sunday 25th September 2022 as & when the signs are in place on site. Access will be under the control of the event organiser for the duration of the event. The alternative route will be via Walton Rd, Chester Rd, Slutchers Ln, Wilson Patten St, Parker St, Liverpool Rd, Sankey Way, Priestley St, Froghall Ln, Midland Way, Manchester Rd, Kingsway Nth, Kingsway Sth, Knutsford Rd & vice versa. The restrictions are required to facilitate The Warrington Running Festival. Ref: High/2377

The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation (Amendment No.47) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & of all other enabling powers. The effect of the Order will be as follows: -
1. The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation Order 2018, is hereby further varied or amended as follows:
(a) In the 3rd Schedule by the deletion of: No waiting at any time: Access Road to the rear of the temporary Market Hall (Both Sides) - From its jct. with Academy St following the kerb lines for a distance of 60m, in a south westerly direction.
(b) In the 71st Schedule by the deletion of: No loading & unloading at any time: Access Road to the rear of the temporary Market Hall (Both Sides) - From its jct. with Academy St, following the kerb lines for a distance of 60m, in a south westerly direction.
(c) In the 3rd Schedule by the addition of: No waiting at any time: Access Road serving the units of Number 5 & 6, Time Sq (Both Sides) - From its jct. with Academy St for its entire length.
(d) In the 71st Schedule by the addition of: No loading & unloading at any time: Access Road serving the units of Number 5 & 6, Time Sq (Both Sides) - From its jct. with Academy St for its entire length.
(e) In the 65th Schedule by the addition of: Loading & unloading only bays, any time: All that part of the north east kerb line of the Access Road serving the unit of Number 5,
Time Sq which is bounded on the north east by so much of that highway as extends from a point approx. 53m north west of its jct. with Academy St for a distance of 15m in a north westerly direction & which has a width throughout of 2.7m - Wholly within the limits of the loading bay & parallel to the kerb.
