Northumberland County Council Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 -Section 14(1) U8290 Beaumont Street, Hexham (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U8290 Beaumont Street from its junction with Abbey House heading north-eastwards for a distance of 80 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 9th October 2022 until the 21st October 2022. It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 9th October 2022 until 10th October 2022 between the hours of 19:30 - 3:00 hours during this period.

The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Market Street, Gilesgate, Holy Island, Giles Place, Alexander Place, Haugh Lane, Alemouth Road, the A6079 Hexham to Hexham Bypass, Station Road, Priestpopple, Battle Hill, Beaumont Street and vice versa.
