Raynham Road N18 -Temporary Restriction Of Traffic

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in order to facilitate essential utility works on Raynham Road, N18, the Council of the London Borough of Enfield propose to make the Enfield (Raynham Road, N18) (Temporary Restriction of Traffic) Order 2022 under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The effect of the Order would be to prohibit traffic from:

i.) entering or proceeding on Raynham Road, N18 at its junction with Fore Street, N18, for approx. 25 metres, as and when directed by signage;
ii.) suspension of one way working between its junctions with Cross Street and Fore Street, as and when directed by signage.
3. The prohibitions referred to in paragraph 2 above would not apply to works vehicles or, if the works allow, to police or emergency services vehicles.

4. The prohibitions would come into operation on 4 October 2022 and would continue in force for 3 days or until works are completed.

5. Whilst the prohibitions are in operation the diversion route would be Via Fore Street N18, Alpha Road N18, Buckstone Road N18, Sandal Road N18, Wakefield Street N18, Raynham Road N18 and vice versa.
