Private Road EN1 -Temporary Restriction Of Traffic

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in order to facilitate essential utility works on Private Road EN1, the Council of the London Borough of Enfield have made the Enfield (Private Road EN1) (Temporary Restriction of Traffic) Order 2022 under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit traffic from entering or proceeding on Private Road EN1, between its junctions with Wellington Road and Village Road, as and when directed by signage.

3. The prohibitions referred to in paragraph 2 above will not apply to works vehicles or, if the works allow, to police or emergency services vehicles.

4. The prohibitions will come into operation on 27 September 2022 and will continue in force 1 day or until works are completed. Access will be maintained for residents only as far as the works allow.

5. Whilst the prohibitions are in operation the diversion route will be;

Northbound traffic from the West - Village Road, London
Road, Lincoln Road, Wellington Road
Southbound traffic from the West - Village Road, Park Avenue,
Queen Anne's Gardens, Wellington Road
Northbound traffic from the East - Wellington Road, Lincoln
Road, London Road, Village Road
Southbound traffic from the East - Wellington Road, Queen Anne's Gardens, Park Avenue, Village Road Dated 21
