NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the Order would be to Introduce waiting and loading restrictions as set out In the Schedule to this Notice. Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Order.
Copies of the proposed Orders, of the plans of the schemes and of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be made available by emailing

during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays.

ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director of Environment and Public Protection, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, BR1 3UH, quoting reference ADE(TP)/RP/T100/729 not later than 12th October 2022.

Persons objecting to the proposed Orders should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.

No Waiting At Any Time:-

Chistlehurst Road

, Chistlehurst, (a) the north west side, from the common boundary of Nos. 55 and 57 Chistlehurst Road to a point 7.3m north east of the north eastern boundary of No. 65 Chistlehurst Road; (b) the south east side, from its junction with Caveside Close south westwards for a distance of 26.9m.

Hart Dyke Road, Orpington, (a) both sides (i) from the south western kerbline of Rye Crescent south westwards for a distance of 10m.

Petten Grove

, Orpington, (a) the south side, from a point 10m west of the western kerbline of Rye Crescent to a point 10m east of the eastern kerbline of Rye Crescent.

Rye Crescent, Orpington, (a) both sides (i) from the southern kerbline of Petten Grove southwards for a distance of 10m; (b) the south west side, from a point 10m north west of the north western kerbline of Hart Dyke Road to a point 10m south east of the south eastern kerbline of Hart Dyke Road. STATION APPROACH, Sydenham, (a) the south side, from a point 63.5m west of the western kerbline of Worsley Bridge Road westwards for a distance of 5.5m.
