NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the Orders would be to.--
(a) introduce one way traffic operation for all vehicles in North Road, West Wickham, for its whole length, in a west to east direction;

(b) introduce one way traffic operation for all vehicles in Surrey Road, West Wickham, between the southern boundary of No. 1 Surrey Road and its junction with North Road, in a south to north direction;

(c) introduce one way traffic operation for all vehicles in Sussex Road, West Wickham, between the southern boundary of No. 1 Sussex Road and its junction with North Road, in a north to south direction;

(d) introduce/extend waiting restrictions as set out in the Schedule to this Notice.

(e) introduce a new Controlled Parking Zone in the Surrey Road area of West Wickham, Zone T, in Kent Road, between the northern boundary of No. 41 Kent Road and its junction with High Street); North Road, Surrey Road and Sussex Road operating 8.30am to 6.30pm throughout the week. The properties within the zone that would be eligible for the issue of parking permits are set in the Schedule to this Notice.

(f) introduce resident permit holder only bays into lengths of Kent Road; North Road, Surrey Road and Sussex Road operating at zone hours as set out in the Schedule to this Notice;

(g) introduce a shared use: pay by phone/resident permit holder bay into a length of Kent Road operating at zone hours as set out in the Schedule to this Notice.

Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and
persons are contained In the original Orders.

A copy of the proposed Orders, of the plan of the scheme and of the
Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders
can be Inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays
at the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent.
ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send
a statement In writing of their objection and the grounds thereof
to the Director of Environment and Public Protection, Civic Centre,
Stockwell Close, Bromley, BR1 3UH, quoting reference ADE(TP)/
RP/T100/728 not later than 12th October 2022.
Persons objecting to the proposed Orders should be aware
that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to
Information) Act 1985, any comments received In response to this
Notice may be open to public Inspection.

Waiting Restrictions

No Waiting At Any Time:-
KENT ROAD, West Wickham, (a) (I) the west side, from the common boundary of Nos. 22 and 24 Kent Road southwards for a distance of 10m; (II) the west side, from a point 5m north of the northern kerb line of North Road to a point opposite the southern wall of No. 102 Kent Road; (b) the east side, from the common boundary of Nos. 15 and 17 northwards for a distance of 4.8m.
NORTH ROAD, West Wickham, (a) (i) the north side, from the western kerb line of Kent Road westwards for a distance of 5m; (ii) the north side, from the common boundary of Nos. 6 and 8 North Road to the western kerbline of Surrey Road; (b) (i) the south side, from the western kerbline of Kent Road to a point 5.5m west of the western kerbline of Sussex Road; (ii) the south side, from the eastern kerb line of Surrey Road eastwards for a distance of 5m.
SURREY ROAD, West Wickham, (a) the east side, from the southern kerb line of North Road southwards for a distance of 5.5m; (b) the west side, from the northern kerbline of North Road to a point 33.5m north of the northern kerbline of High Street; SUSSEX ROAD, West Wickham, (a) (i) the east side, from the southern kerb line of North Road southwards for a distance of 5m; (ii) the east side, from a point 10m south of the southern boundary of No. 11 Sussex Road southwards for a distance of 3m; (iii) the east side, from a point 21.7m south of the southern boundary of No. 11 Sussex Road southwards for a distance of 13.3m; (iv) east side, the common boundary of the 'Day Care Centre' and the 'Works' southwards for a distance of 19.7m; (b) the west side, from the southern kerbline of North Road to a point 15.7m north of the northern kerbline of High Street;
No Waiting between 8.30am to 6.30pm throughout the week:-Any area of public highway in any length of road within the Controlled Parking Zone not covered by waiting restrictions operating at any time.
PERMIT HOLDERS ONLY PARKING PLACES Permit holders V T parking between 8.30am to 6.30pm throughout the week, except Public Holidays and Bank Holidays. Permits £100 per annum per vehicle:-
