Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicular Traffic Anerley Park Penge

Notice Of Intention

1. The Council of the London Borough of Bromley HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that in order for Premier Drainage Solutions to install new foul water sewer connection to a property THEY INTEND to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following restrictions on vehicular traffic: -

Anerley Park Penge will be closed for up to two weeks from Monday 10th October 2022. The road will be closed in between the junctions of Anerley Road and Castledine Road, more specifically outside properties 24 Anerley Park to 26 Anerley. The closure will be in place for the entire duration of works.
Displaced traffic will be diverted via: -
Anerley Road, Thicket Road and Anerley Park Road in both directions.
The following restrictions are also required for these works: Waiting Vehicles
No person shall, until the works are completed, cause or permit any vehicle to wait between properties 11 to 19 Anerley Park and properties 20 to 32 Anerley Park, Penge on either side of the street. The restriction is in place from Monday 10th October 2022 at 08:00 until Monday 24th October 2022 at 18:00.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction on waiting imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986, or by the Council in accordance with the powers conferred upon it.

2. THE Order will come into effect on Monday 10th October 2022 with no specified finish date.

3. NOTHING in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission or direction of a Police Officer in uniform or Traffic Warden.

4. THE restriction referred to in this Order shall not apply to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

5. ACCESS to properties will be maintained at all times, however vehicles will need to follow the diversion signs displayed on site whilst the closure is in place. Emergency access and egress routes will be maintained at all times. Pedestrian access will be available at all times during the works.

6. ALTHOUGH the Order will have a maximum duration o1 18 months, it is expected that the actual works will take up to two weeks to complete and will begin on or after the commencement date of the Order.

7. THE prohibitions referred to in paragraph 1 above shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
