Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Church Enstone - B4022 Banbury Road Prohibition of Through Traffic and Waiting
Date of Order: 19 September 2022 Coming into force: 26 September 2022 This Order is being introduced because of highway and drainage maintenance works which are anticipated to be completed 26 October 2022.
The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding or waiting in a length of the B4022 north of Church Enstone between the B4030 crossroads and the junction with Green Lane. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. Traffic will be diverted via the A361 and A44 and vice versa. Access to Soho Farmhouse for deliveries will be maintained throughout the works from the B4022 via The Tews. Works will be phased to allow access to the Airfield and associated businesses at all times from one end or the other. This will be flexible as works progress. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T10294/AC)
