Notice Of Modification Order
Section 53 Of The Wildlife And Countryside Act 1981 Definitive Map And Statement Of Public Rights Of Way
For The County Of Clwyd
(Public Footpath No. 2 In The Community Of Caerwys) Definitive Map Modification Order 2020
On the 7th June 2022, the Flintshire County Council confirmed the above Order without modification:
1) Adding to it a public footpath, in the Community of Caerwys, in the County of Flintshire, commencing at NGR 31275 37153 running in a easterly direction for a total distance of approximately 50 metres at NGR 31280 37152 as indicated by a bold broken black line between points A and B on the Order map.
2) Deleting from it Public Footpath, in the Community of Caerwys, in the County of Flintshire, commencing at NGR 31275 37153 running in a southerly direction for a total distance of approximately 24 metres at NGR 31273 37151 as indicated by a bold black line between points A and C on the Order map.
3) Varying the relevant particulars contained in the Statement accompanying the Definitive Map.
A copy of the Order and the Order Map may be seen free of charge during opening hours at Caerwys Post Office and at reasonable hours at the Reception, Ty Dewi Sant, St David's Park, Ewloe, CH5 3DT, Flintshire. Copies of the Order and map may be bought for £5.00.
The Order came into force on the 7th June 2022, but if any person aggrieved by the Order desires to question its validity, or that of any provisions contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in the relation to confirmation of the Order, he or she may apply, under Schedule 15 to the Acts applied by paragraph 12 of Schedule, to the High Court within 42 days from the date upon which Notice is first published as required by paragraph 11 of Schedule 15 of that Act. Notice Of Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic Order
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14 Sealand
Flintshire County Council has made an Order which prohibits any vehicle from proceeding in First Avenue between its junctions with Parkway and Drive A, Sealand in the County of Flintshire.
The reason for the closure is to facilitate service connections with associated works by Kiernan Construction Limited. The alternative route available for vehicles will be signed accordingly by the use of prescribed signs.
The Order comes into force on the 21 September 2022. It is anticipated that the road will only be closed for 2 weeks, or until the earlier completion of the works, subject to a maximum period of eighteen months. A B/FCC (TTRO) 044281

Notice Of Proposal (Stryt Isa, Hope)
(No Stopping On School Keep Clear Markings) (Monday- Friday 8.00am - 5.00.pm)
Notice is hereby given that the Flintshire County Council propose to place 4 School Keep Clear with Zig Zags on the South West side of Stryt Isa opposite the school gates in the vicinity of property's West Winds, Hazel Bank, Ty Hydref and Holm Lea the markings will be between 25,560m and 43,560m long.
Reason for Proposal: Following a robust prioritisation process, Flintshire County Council has identified Castell Alun High School, Hope as the Authorities priority when assessed under the Welsh Governments Safe Routes in the Community initiative. Following a successful bid to Welsh Government, Flintshire County Council have been successful in obtaining funding to implement substantial safety measures to address congestion and reduce unnecessary vehicle movements experienced along the route to School. Such measures include improved walking & cycling provisions.

Proposed Pedestrian Crossing On The A550 Wrexham Road, Hope
NOTICE is hereby given that the Flintshire County Council, in exercise of its powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers proposes:-
a) The Proposed Toucan Crossing at the location as described in the Schedule to this Notice.
The usual prohibition of vehicles stopping, waiting, loading and unloading on the carriageway within the areas marked by Zig Zag lines on either side of the crossings will apply.
Reason for Proposal: Following a successful bid was made to the Welsh Government and as such Flintshire County Council have been successful in obtaining funding to implement substantial safety measures to address a safer off road shared footway and cycleway from Penyfford to Hope along the A550 Wrexham Road and to help with crossing pedestrian and cyclists to reduce unnecessary danger to and from Hope Village and Castell Alun High School.

(Wrexham Road, Penyffordd) (Prohibition Of Driving) Order 20-
The Flintshire County Council proposes to make an Order, under Section 1 (1) (d) and (f) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, the effect of which will be:
1) To prohibit any vehicle except pedal cyclists to drive through Wrexham Road, Penyffordd.
For the purposes of this proposed Order, 'Wrexham Road' - Shall mean the service road that runs parallel with the A550 Wrexham Road, Penyffordd.

Flintshire County Council propose to make an Order in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004, Part IV of Schedule 9 and all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to amend The Flintshire County Council (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement and Consolidation) Order 2013, so as to introduce:-1. 'No Waiting At Any Time' restrictions-:
a. At various locations on both sides of Fagl Lane, Hope.
b. At the junctions of Wrexham Road with the A550 Wrexham Road, Hope
c. At the junction of Fagl Lane with Castell Alun Exit junction, Hope
d. At various locations on North East side of Stryt Isa, Hope
In all other respects the present provisions of the 'The Flintshire County Council (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement and Consolidation) Order 2013' will remain in force.
