The County Of Cumbria (Footpath No. 601079 In The Parish Of Barrow-In-Furness) (Temporary Prohibition Of Pedestrians) Order 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable Cumbria County Council to carry out surface improvement works ("the Works"), the County Council of Cumbria intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along the entire length of Public Footpath No. 601079 at Vale of Nightshade in the Parish of Barrow-in-Furness between Grid References: 322031 472597 and 321802 472092. There is no suitable alternative route available for pedestrians.

The Order will come into operation on 1 October 2022 and may continue in force for a period of up to six months from that date as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed, although it is anticipated that it will only be required for 2 weeks.
