The County Of Cumbria (Byway No.601067 In The Parish Of Barrow-In-Furness) (Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicles, Pedestrians, Horses And Cyclists) Order 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable Cumbria County Council to carry out works for the clearance of overgrowth and the installation of aggregate surfacing ("the Works"), the County Council of Cumbria intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit vehicles, pedestrians, horses and cyclists from proceeding along an approx. 575 metre section of Public Byway No. 601067 at Cliff Lane in the Parish of Barrow in Furness, between Grid References: 320294 471691 and 320334 471120.
A suitable alternative route will be available along Hawcoat Lane and Thorncliffe Road.

The Order will come into operation on 1 October 2022 and may continue in force for a period of up to six months from that date as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed, although it is anticipated that it will only be required for 1 month.
