Darlington Borough Council Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (Temporary Road Closure) 2022 Cleveland Street, Darlington(Ii)

Darlington Borough Council Intend, not less than seven days from the date o1 this notice to make an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to close:

CLEVELAND STREET From its junction with Allan Street westwards for 110 metres, under the rail bridge
An alternative route will be signed via Albert Road, A167, St Cuthberfs Way, Freeman's Place, Haughton Road, Barton Street, Allan Street and vice versa. The Order is necessary to allow works to install a CCTV monitoring system for the rail bridge

The maximum duration of the temporary closure under this Order is 18 months commencing from 31st October 2022, it is anticipated that the closure will be effective between 2200hours and 0600hours for 3 nights.
