ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Road Closure Sandycombe Road, Richmond
(Reference 22/204)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate ducting work, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Sandycombe Road, Richmond.
2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter Sandycombe Rad at its junction with Manor Circus.
3. The order will come into effect on 26 September 2022. The restrictions will be in force at 21.00 on 26 September 2022 and remain in force until 05.00 on 27 September 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. Alternative routes for traffic will be available via Manor Circus, Lower Mortlake Road and Kew Road.
5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Road Closure Bracken Gardens, Barnes

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer repair works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Bracken Gardens, Barnes.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person may permit a vehicle to proceed wait or stand in Bracken Gardens between a point outside the common boundary of Nos 30 and 31 Bracken Gardens south-westwards to the end of the cud de sac.
3. The order will come into effect on 19 September 2022. The restrictions will remain in force at all times from 19 September 2022 until 30 September 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
5. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle.
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Parking Suspension Shaftesbury Road, Richmond

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate development works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Shaftesbury Road, Richmond.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in Shaftesbury Road, on its north-western side, in the parking bays sited outside No. 31 Shaftesbury Road. The suspension will be on a rolling basis.
3. The order will come into effect on 19 September 2022. The restrictions will be in force from 19 September 2022 until 31 October 2022 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
5. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

Temporary Restrictions Various Roads in the Borough
(Reference 22/201)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate European Car Free Day, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in various roads in the Borough.
2. The streets and lengths of which will be closed are listed in the Schedule to this notice. Full details of the lengths of street which will be closed and times when the closures will be in force will be contained in the order referred to in the next paragraph.
3. Copies of the Order-fa) can be inspected until 31 December 2022, quoting Reference
22/201 at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and (b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer cleaning they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Orleans Road, Twickenham.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person may permit a vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Orleans Road between its junctions with Richmond Road and Riverside.
3. The order will come into effect on 28 September 2022. The restrictions will remain in force on 28 September 2022 The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for traffic will be available via Riverside and Lebanon Park.
5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle.
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a traffic warden; or
(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Road Closure Uxbridge Road, Hampton Hill

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer cover replacement works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Uxbridge Road, Hampton Hill.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person may permit a vehicle to proceed wait or stand in Uxbridge Road between a point outside No. 153 Uxbridge Road and a point outside No. 157 Uxbridge Road.
3. The order will come into effect on 22 September 2022. The restrictions will remain in force between 20.00 and 23.59 on 22 September 2022 only. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available Uxbridge Road, High Street and Park Road.
5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle.
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.
