MARINE AND COASTAL ACCESS ACT 2009
APPLICATION FOR REPLACEMENT OF A PRIVATE JETTY

Notice is hereby given that Robert Atkins of 1 Firs Lane has applied to the Marine Management Organisation under the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009, Part 4, for a marine licence to undertake the replacement of their private jetty. The existing jetty is a timber structure, with timber supporting posts driven into the seabed, which has now degraded due to age, exposure and storm damage.
The proposed works will involve the removal of this old structure and construction of a new jetty. The new jetty will also be made of timber and the supporting posts are to be piled into the seabed, with their locations being as close to the previous piles as practicable.
